
An old favourite enjoyed by all.
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of Gluten Free baking powder
- ⅓ cup of soft butter or Nuttelex
- ¼ teaspoon of bicarbonate soda
- 2 eggs, unbeaten
- 1 cup of banana, mashed
- 1 ¾ cups of LFGF All-Purpose Wholemeal Flour
Method
- Place soft butter/Nuttelex, eggs and sugar into a bowl — mix for 3 minutes.
- Add the rest of the ingredients (LFGF All-Purpose Wholemeal Flour, baking powder, bicarbonate soda and the mashed banana). Mix together.
- Grease a regular size loaf tin.
- Pour batter into loaf tin and bake in a low oven around 110°C for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Handy Hints
- You can add any flavours to the LFGF All-Purpose Wholemeal Flour dry mix and spread the taste through the whole loaf.
- LFGF products are gluten, egg, dairy, and soy free. Replace any dairy or egg products with vegan alternatives.
