LFGF Biscotti


  • ½ Olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • grated rind /1 lemon
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 4 egg yolks well beaten
  • 2 3/4 Cups LFGF All-purpose plain flour
  • ½ cup orange juice


  1. Place LFGF All-purpose plain flour, baking powder & sugar into a mixing bowl.
  2. Grate lemon rind, then add to the dry mix and mix right though.
  3. Juice 1 to 2 orange = ½ cup of orange juice set aside.
  4. Separate the yokes from the white of the egg beat the egg yolks.
  5. Place the egg yolk, orange juice and the oil to the dry mix. Mix with hands until the mix is well mixed
  6. Shape tablespoon of mix .
  7. Place on greased oven tray bake in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned, cool on wire rack.
